There is always a higher objective that we always seem to miss. We get all tangled up in the moment and lose sight of what stands higher than anything else. I'm not referring to focusing on the straight and narrow necessarily, more so the concept of being focused on the constant change and learning that goes on inside us all. It varies from person to person... but everyone can view their objectives incorrectly.
To be able to see what lies beneath the web of intangible truths we must first be able to conceive what the ultimate objective is. Is it a plausible idea? Can you rely on that objective and be fully confident that it is now and will forever be unchanging? Understand that priorities are held at different values in different people. One may hold work before family. I, of course, completely disagree with this but it is a perfect example of how someones priorities can get confused.
Bottom line, it doesn't take a square to set your priorities straight. But stick to them with your whole heart and soul when you do find out what they may be and are sure that they are in the proper order. Your future depends on it. As unfriendly of a gesture it may seem, when someone finds reason to let you know that your priorities are not in order and that you need to shape up... it may very possibly be in your best interests to listen. Its alright to let go of your pride for a moment or two and realize that you may need to make some changes in your life. This is what human existence is all about. Trial, error, and correction of errors.
