What hope is there if you are not given any proof that it exists. Why would you believe that it exists if you cannot see or hear that it does. In an uncertain world with uncertain people devouring each other all across it, there is very little hope that is certain. In an unbelievably unstable generation we live in, there is very little available resources for finding certainty in anything but yourself. Hopeless? More than likely. Give up? Not until the last straw.
Hopelessness can be keyed off by several emotions and signs. The emotions being depression, anger, sadness, and self pity. The signs: confusion, indifference, conveyance of something better, implications of hopelessness or indifference, and reflection on mistakes.
Although all these things are perfectly avoidable with just a little self confidence, you will be approached by them all nonetheless. There are states of mind that can drag you to the deepest and darkest despair you could imagine merely from a reflection on a mistake or having pity on yourself. You cannot do this! Hopelessness is dissolved in a solvent called confidence. After being dissolved, it remains in the back of your mind. It will never go away completely. One false move could bring it all back.
Technically speaking, hopelessness could be considered a mental disorder. Some people are so careless and hopeless that their choices are nothing but go-with-the-flow movements and decisions. There is no medical or prescription treatment for this... its a self esteem problem above all else and must be fought hard. Do not give into hopelessness ever. Clear your mind from frustrations and think through what is going on from a bigger perspective. Is anything really worth that kind of pain and frustration? Is your hopeless spirit even worth fighting or should you just give up? Make it a priority to sort through your troubles with your brain, not your heart. Make it a priority to see things for what they really are, not what they used to be or what they could be in the future. The present is the only time you can make mistakes... try to avoid as many as possible.
