Based On a True Story

Have you ever fought for something you knew was right? Probably so. When in doubt, do not give up. Here is the thing about knowing when something is right... in your heart and mind, it may be right to you, but to others it may seem either a little far fetched and often times they can't even see why you would fight for it to start with. In my case, I have been fighting for a love that I know is true, a love I know is real, and a love that I know will never be a lie.

Unfortunately, I have made a lot of mistakes prior to now in a long term relationship with this person and they know that I love them, they know that I would do anything to win them back, and they know that I could be the person that they want to spend the rest of their life with.
Here is the problem. Trust. When trust is lost, doubt is working its "magic" on that person.

Doubt can be a powerful thing. Doubt can keep anyone from doing what they need to do and doubt is above all else a nasty thing to deal with. Me for instance. I have doubted this person from the start. And why it took me this long to realize that this is the person that I want to spend eternity with, I may never know. All I know is this... My heart burns for her. The spark that I started out having with her has turned into a burning building and there is absolutely no way of putting it out. (end of chapter one)
