We are all nothing but mistake making, crying, deprived, lost souls and our mortality is meaningless until we find reason for ourselves to exist. As children we are all ignorant to our surroundings in such a way that we would have believed that a successful future would just slide onto our laps. Over time we grew to realize that there are things that have to be earned. Like success, intellect, money, a healthy relationship, good parenting skills, and a connection within our families. Contrary to common belief, it is God who determines our destiny. Anything can happen at any point in time. My intricate technique is this:
If we, as mortal human beings, believe in a higher power, we substitute the motivation and structure we would have had as independent agnostic individuals for a substantial reliance on God doing all of the work for us or even part of the work. Unfortunately, God has given each and every individual their own free will so he won't be nudging us along at all in that sense. But using God as a gateway to better our own personal well being and prosperity, we can achieve the impossible, and gain what many political and religious leaders would refer to as "nirvana." The word "nirvana" does not necessarily have to be a buddhist term. Although nirvana was originally used by buddha to describe a place of absolute perfection and personal happiness, any religion could adapt to this word. I personally come from Christian background and stand behind everything that comes with it. But I also believe that a christian nirvana, so to speak, is achievable through the understanding and following of God's word.
In Buddhism, suffering is not an option. In fact, it does not even exist to them! Through trials and tribulations, buddhists are taught to trust that everything happens for a reason and that in time, the process will work itself out. From my perspective that is not entirely true. We as human beings are given a responsibility above all other responsibilities to strive to reach success or nirvana. Through our trials we will be brought down to a level that will be terribly difficult to recover from, we will go through what might seem like hell, and we will lose our faith at times. Suffering will occur and it does exist. To not suffer would be improbable and illogical.
